Release of 2017 WAEC Results

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the results of 2017 WASSCE for private candidates will be released before the end of next week. WAEC Head of Public Affairs Department, Demianus Ejijeogu, while responding to a question on his twitter handle, @Iamkingdemian, said the results will be released on or before November 24, 2017.
Concerning the withheld results of 2017 WASSCE for school candidates, the image maker said the body does not make public pronouncements on the actual date of release, but that relevant divisions/departments are working tirelessly to ensure a speedy release.

According to a recent report in Premier Times, academic calendars of our ivory towers have been stable for the past couple of years. This stability becomes obvious with the fact that there have not been industrial unrest by the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) in the last 2 or so.
