Lagos State Government Recruitment

All is now set for recruitment of 2200 teachers (1000 for primary schools and 1200 for secondary schools) by the Lagos state government. The process begin on August 31st and ends on September 6th. For primary schools: Applicants should possess any of the following academic qualifications; (i). Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) and a First Degree (ii). Bachelor of Education (B.Ed/B.Sc Ed/B.A Ed) in Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology, Home Economics and other courses relevant to the above listed subjects ( i– xviii). (iii). NECO RELEASES 2018 JUNE/JULY RESULTS

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the June/July 2018 Senior Secondary Schools Certificate Examination results. This was disclosed in a statement signed by the acting Registrar of the Council, Abubakar Gana. Gana said out of the 1,041,536 candidates who sat for the examinations, only 742,455 of the candidates got at least five credit passes including Mathematics and the English Language. He added that a total number of 20,181 candidates were involved in examination malpractices, less than the figure of 2017.
