OSUSTECH POST UTME

Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa has commenced its On-line registration for the screening exercise for admission into ALL Programmes in the University for 2018/2019 Session. Candidates should note that provisional admission would be offered on the basis of first come, first served. Eligibility Candidates who made OSUSTECH their first choice of institution and scored 180 and above in the 2018/2019 UTME are eligible for screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates who chose the University as second choice or did not choose it at all are advised to do a change of institution to OSUSTECH as first choice on JAMB website before registering.

Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti Post UTME

1. Candidates must score above 160 in 2018 UTME 2. The institution must be first or second choice Interested Candidates should follow the steps below to apply: Candidates should visit the Polytechnic students’ portal  here  or via  http://students.fedpolyado.edu.ng  to generate and print application payment invoice. After printing invoice, candidates can proceed to any bank of their choice with the invoice generated invoice and make payment on the Remita platform. Candidates can also make payment with their debit cards (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. After payment, candidates should revisit the Polytechnic students’ portal  here  or via  http://students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and fill the application form using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). Candidates should endeavour to print the copies of the application form and the acknowledgement slip after filling the form.

WAEC RELEASES MAY/JUNE 2018 RESULTS

— West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has released results of West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, Wednesday, in Lagos with 49.98 per cent obtained five credits in English Language and Mathematics. Waec Result 2017.Speaking at WAEC national office in Lagos, Head of Nigeria Office, Mr Olu Adenipekun, said: “786,016 candidates representing 49.98% obtained credits and above in minimum of five subjects including English Language and Mathematics.”In 2016, the total percentage of candidates that had five credits and above in English Language and Mathematics were 52.97%, while in 2017, it was 59.22% .Thought the HNO acknowledged that there are cases of examination malpractice, but declined to give the statistics, noting that it was minimal. He said: “A total of 1,578,846 candidates registered for the examination from 17,886 recognised secondary schools in Nigeria, adding, Out of the registered candidates, 1,572,396 candidates sat the examination.
