The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed candidates for the 2018 UTME to start printing their examination notification slip from Tuesday, March 6. The board’s Head of Media and Information Department, Dr Fabian Benjamin, said in Lagos on Sunday that arrangements had been concluded for the successful conduct of the exam scheduled to hold from March 9 to March 17. “With have successfully conducted the Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Monday, February 26, and based on that, we can confidently say, we are good to go. “The mock UTME was to expose the candidates to the process as well as test the level of preparedness of the various centres. “Candidates can now go ahead and print their examination notification slips from Tuesday. “These candidates must ensure that these slips are printed before Friday, March 9 in order to familiarise themselves with the examination schedules as no form of excuse for missing the examination will
Applicant Eligibility Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity card. Applicants must possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be in English language. In addition, Tradesmen & Women Applicants must also possess OND/Trade Test/City and Guild certificate Non-Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 - 22 years by March 1, 2017. Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 - 26 years by March 1, 2017. Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.68 meters tall for male and 1.62 meters tall for female. Applicants must print their completed online forms, attest it and submit it at the examination recruitment centres during the screening exercise period. Knowledge of additional Nigerian Languages other than mother tongue is an added advantage
Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa has commenced its On-line registration for the screening exercise for admission into ALL Programmes in the University for 2018/2019 Session. Candidates should note that provisional admission would be offered on the basis of first come, first served. Eligibility Candidates who made OSUSTECH their first choice of institution and scored 180 and above in the 2018/2019 UTME are eligible for screening. In addition, candidates must possess five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit Passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two (2) sittings. Candidates who chose the University as second choice or did not choose it at all are advised to do a change of institution to OSUSTECH as first choice on JAMB website before registering.
