NECO GCE RESULTS HAVE BEEN RELEASED

The National Examinations Council has released the results of the 2017 November/December Senior School Certificate Examination.
The analysis shows that out of the 42,429 candidates that sat for the examination, 32,917 candidates, representing 77.58 per cent, have five credits and above in various subjects.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of 2026 UTME examination slip printing. However, more than 14 hours after the announcement, many candidates are still unable to access the reprint portal. According to a recent report in Premier Times, academic calendars of our ivory towers have been stable for the past couple of years. This stability becomes obvious with the fact that there have not been industrial unrest by the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) in the last 2 or so. What can be the reasons this stability? One of the things that has been done to achieve stability in our universities is the strengthening of institution governance in the federal universities.
